A bit late to comment on this I guess, but here goes…

It was a nice send-off, and the goodbyes were cool, but the way he died? How unoriginal can you get?

Anybody who enjoyed this plot should go back and watch what happened to Spock in Star Trek II – The Wrath of Khan. If Russell T Davies was so short of ideas for such a key episode, I’m glad he gave up.

My favorite moment is the eight-minute mini-episode where he meets his fifth incarnation by accident (“Time Crash”).

I cried in a deeply undignified way after watching the last episode. Not entirely sure Matt Smith is going to match up.

Despite a lot of criticism, I thought Donna was won of the best assistants too. I loved her`sassy attitude, and the fact she wasn’t in constant awe of the Doctor.

I’m going to have to watch the finale again so I can have a good cry. We had guests round who had never watched Doctor Who (Aussies) and I didn’t quite feel able to blub in front of them.
