This ep was brilliantly scripted, an intense combination of scary and emotional, and after the fact, I feel both like I can't *wait* for the next two episodes, and like I can't possibly watch the last two because my heart will well and truly break! :( My heart started aching for the loss of David Tennant as the Doctor way back at the end of last season when it was announced. Ending was perhaps a bit rushed, but not enough to take me out of it. I do kinda hope the Christmas special isn't as much of a downer though. Maybe they could have a fun, fast-paced Christmas episode, then break out the misery for the second half at New Year's. I enjoyed it a lot.
