Mine is Mozy.com which is an online backup service. I use that AND dropbox, possibly because I'm paranoid, but mainly because they are for slightly different things and for a really low cost Mozy gives you unlimited storage.
You can even use Mozy at Enteprise level so that if, shock horror, your whole office's IT went down and you urgently needed some docs you wouldn't have to sit on the phone to IT support, you could download them straight away from anywhere with internet access.

I'm a big fan of Pixlr too. It's saved me so much time that I give myself a little chucklehug every time I use it.

From a work point of view, Pixlr and Digsby have been some of the best tools for saving time and the opening of multiple windows.

From a personal point of view, it's got to be Twitter (completely lacking in originality, I know) and 4OD/iPlayer for keeping up with my favourite shows.

*ahem* I might also have a soft spot for my Slanket too.

I have also found Dropbox vair useful, although I am in constant fear that I'm going to reach my storage limit and have my box explode mid-transfer.

This year I also rather enjoyed - when I remembered to use it - Readability, which makes it easier to digest large chunks of text on websites:

I was hoping Google Wave would make my end-of-year favourite things, but it's not there yet.
