LEGO Series 12 Minifigs out today!

Yet more LEGO figures I’ll need to buy… BAH!

It’s an exciting day in the world of Minifigs as the new series (officially Series 12) is available now. This series is linked to the online game, and each figure comes with a special code allowing you to play as them. It’s a gimmick, but a cool one! (Although, annoyingly you can only play the game on a PC, which will rule out many homes these days.)

There are a great mix of characters this time round, including a Hun Warrior, someone in a pig costume (which is absolutely perfect for me in my dayjob), and a terrific swashbuckler. They’re all really bright, and very pleasing. Some are tweaks on a theme – such as the lady genie to the earlier male one, but at least you can now complete a genie family?

These are my favourites at first glance!

First up the Battle Goddess, and I love the little sandal detailing on her feet.

Look at that funky skirt!

And then the Spooky Goth Girl, who has super colouring and a button-eyed teddy!

This girl transforms into a spider in the game! EURGH!

I can see myself wanting most of them. Ah well, who needs money…
