A shiny new trailer for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special has been released! Huzzah! Yet, still no actual footage from the episode itself! Boo! Yes, we still are no closer to seeing any actual footage from The Day of The Doctor – or closer to knowing any more about the plot than we already know.

But what does make this trailer infinitely better than the last one (to be fair, it didn’t need much) is just how visually sumptuous it is. See William Hartnell’s First Doctor in colour, for the first time! Marvel at the Fourth Doctor’s hovering jelly babies! Gasp in shock at just how little Paul McGann features in this clip!

Here’s to hoping we get more soon. The Day of The Doctor is coming soon…
