The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be hitting cinemas next month. We’re massively excited quite excited about seeing Martin Freeman in the role of Bilbo Baggins, and seeing where Lord Of The Rings all began.

We’re even more excited after seeing Air New Zealand’s special edition Hobbit plane. As you know, The Hobbit was mainly filmed in New Zealand, so this themed plane will be perfect for transporting all the latest fans.

Oh, and it wouldn’t be a special edition plane, without a special edition safety video….

The video features Gollum, Fili the Dwarf (Dean O’Gorman), J.R.R. Tolkien’s great-grandsons Mike and Royd Tolkien and a cameo by Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit director Peter Jackson himself.

Have the Lord Of The Ring and Hobbit stories and films inspired you to visit New Zealand?
