Fresh from winning the Webby Awards’ Meme of the Year Award, we present the Nyan Cat Crochet Bookmark pattern.

The Nyan Cat meme is – like all good memes – made up almost entirely of nonsense by people who have chosen to waste their formative years making animated gifs. We salute them.

In honour of the wonder that is Nyan Cat, the Crochet Me gang created the pattern. Personally, I would hack this to make a wondrous Alice Band/Panta/headband creation.

And then I would make my daughter wear it. Because I am too old to wear crocheted cat memes on my head. I would look deranged.
