It is officially autumn which means that now is the perfect time to get crafting things to keep us, and our friends and family warm.

The original pattern is designed for a newborn baby but there are helpful instructions to make the hats in bigger sizes right up through the ages.

These hats would make a wonderful present, and with Christmas fast approaching now might be a good time to plan ahead for those crafty gift projects!
